About whether a certain "dead" character (Himeko) is truly dead or not, and whether bringing her back to the story is a good thing or not. Some people dont mind not having the feature, while others swear off playing the Global version because of its removal. The game being censored, namely the removal of the ability to touch the Valkyries on the main menu on the CN, KR and Global version has been a rather contentious issues within the games fanbase. Granted, you would still need some good equipments (particularly the Dirac stigmata set) and supports for her, but watching her defeating the likes of Jizo Mitama and Tonatiuh is a spectacle of its own. But let's face it, you're definitely flexing when you use the base-B-rank Valkyries as your main attacker, like White Comet (Kiana), to get some decent scores. Bragging Rights Option: Using "F2P" characters/equipments to score high in the "Abyss" and Memorial Arena modes aren't unheard of, in large part because not everyone would get lucky enough in the gacha to get the high tier characters/equipments. Better Than Canon: Hanser, the voice actress of Bronya, did a cover of "Dual Ego", which was preferred by some fans over the original version. This is intensified by her Battlesuit Trailer video wherein a Concept Artist of miHoYo mentioned "As for her clothes, we tightened them in some areas to show the curves of her thighs." Ever since her debut, the fanbase's first impression of Elysia focused more on her attractive design and Fanservice appeal, to the point where the "SEGGS" meme became prevalent in the fandom because of her. It's also quite common to hear fans trying out the game after seeing some artworks of the HI3 girls, notably Kiana and her Herrscher of the Void persona. This is furthered by the fact that some ads for it are nothing but skimpily dressed women posing for 15 seconds before a logo comes up. It's a huge game with a wide breadth of gameplay, but it's mostly known for anime boobs. In Chapter 22, Herrscher of Sentience mocks her for her losses despite having the power of Herrscher of Reason. This changed for Mei from Chapter 17 and on, but Bronya continues to lose battles which makes it like this for her. Badass Decay: Bronya and Mei suffered the worst from this. 
The actual grand prize (the aforementioned Mei costume) will still appear in 4.6, but for this server, reaching said milestone will grant the player a box containing said costume that will be "opened" in 4.6. Then it's announced (at least in SEA server) that the spending event will come in 4.5, and it eventually came true - not only can the players pull regular supplies for getting the milestones in the spending event, they can also pull the limited Eva supplies for it as well, and the event also goes into Version 4.6. The fans (especially outside China) are concerned about whether to save crystals for the 4.6 event of spend them in 4.5's Eva-related supplies.
HERRSCHER OF SENTIENCE F2P STIGMATA FULL
This was when Version 4.5 (which centers on the collab with Neon Genesis Evangelion) was in full swing, and it had limited Eva content that cost crystals and will never come back.
Author's Saving Throw: Version 4.6 has a "crystal spending event" where, if you spend enough crystals (or tickets) in the Supply, you can get a limited costume for Mei (Herrscher of Thunder) not only that, Herrscher of Sentience (Fu Hua) is also made playable and put in the Supply. Chapters 16 and 17 slowly uncover Mei's side of the relationship, culminating in the "Lament of the Fallen" video where she makes it (violently) clear that Kiana is the most important person in her life. Even her actions in Chapter 15 can be debated both ways - she's either a desperate would-be lover who has just realized her love might either be dead or she's going to be taken to a lab never to be seen again, or she's a remoseful senpai who is devastated over not being there for her kohai. Does Mei actually reciprocate Kiana's feelings towards her, or does she simply view her as a close friend? As of right now, the game doesn't really offer a definite answer either way.
